Broadway Pizza has been a go to place for my family for years. We have not been for a while, but decided to go and brave the chill and sit outside. They have heaters so it was comfortable. Service was friendly and I would rate as excellent. Food always is good...they do need to make the house bread a bit smaller in portion as I never finish it. My review is based solely on the entertainment. The live entertainment was a young man named Blake Guyre. He performed with his best friend and his dad. These young men are seniors at Apopka High and boy are they good! Billy Joel, Elton John, Sam Smith, etc. I really enjoyed them and given their age they seemed like seasoned pros. Look them up and try to catch their performance at Broadway.

Food was sub-par. For restaurant prices you should get much better quality, calamari was bland, no salt, no flavor, same goes for the sweet potato fries. The pizza we got was Bianca, super dry, crust was plain dough once again, no salt no seasoning, very bland. Service was ok, nothing special, took a while to get refills. All in all there are Soooo many better places why eat substandard food for this price.

Went Saturday night. Worst white pizza I ever had. Not much cheese, dry, and dough not cooked. Wings were great. Last time I will go there.

Normally I wouldn't write a review of a place that I order pizza from but recently I had a really great experience so I had to share. Usually I stick with the pizza and appetizers at Broadway because I know what I like. This time when using the online ordering (which I love because it usually means no mistakes in my order) I noticed a new appetizer called the Italian bites. I thought what the heck they sound good I will venture out. These things were awesome. Bites of fried pizza dough tossed in cheese and italian spices. Super yummy. I also tried an eggplant dish which was just okay- I wish that you could request different pasta sauce because their tomato sauce is very chunky and actually detracts from the dish. They also sent a huge piece of house bread which was also fabulous. In the past I have been turned off by their dishes besides pizza but this experience redeemed them and I will definitely try new things again. The biggest plus is that they deliver late!

I was sooo looking forward to Stromboli last night but we never got it. We were with a party of seven and after they were served and had started eating the server told us it would be a couple more minutes. Supposedly the first Stromboli had fallen apart. weird but okay. Fifteen minutes later our friends were done eating so I went inside and cancelled the order. We were very disappointed. I'm surprised a manager didn't come out and apologize which would have been a nice gesture. Everyone else at our table was happy with their food and we will probably be back but I hope this isn't a repeatable experience for Broadway.

I know they try, but they've gotten too big and you're simply not going to get good service and a decent meal at a fair price. We sometimes would get takeout from them, one of their specials (wings, pizza and soda) but I never really enjoy eating there. We decided to give it a try this evening and were seated in their expanded seating area. It's an awkward setup. Just about everything that could go wrong went wrong, orders not prepared properly, never checking on refills, waiting an eternity. Oh well. Individually I think the servers are nice people, they just are not managed properly or the kitchen is providing them with good support, Anyway, I'm glad that my family agrees with me that they are now off the list.

We came here to watch the Thunder/Spurs game, eat some wings and have a few beers. Pitiful service. We move to the bar because the waitress was exceptionally slow and the service was worse. The bartender looked like he couldn't be bothered. FINALLY the food arrived. I've eaten here many times and, honestly, the food was the same quality as it usually is, which is fine.(i had lasagna, she had wings) We ask for some more ranch dressing and the bartender(now our server) keeps walking by constantly(2 feet in front of us, btw) and finally, my date (who NEVER says anything bad about anybody) says: "dude, can we get our ranch dressing this f......... year?" We ate, we left. Went over to RJ Brewski's and topped off a couple more beers. Bottom line: food was fine, the service was unnecessarily bad.. UNNECESSARILY BAD.

This place is great and everyone working there is really cool. I had my parents down for a visit from up north and we went here one night after a long day of cocoa beach and Kennedy space center. The waitress was very polite and prompt with her service. We always had beer and our food was prepared about as fast as one can prepare a Sicilian pizza. Live entertainment and good people. We all had a great time. All the negative reviews I'm reading are so petty and whiny. If you're not a jerk expecting a bad experience in the first place you will like this place. Some of the idiots on yelp act they they are 4 star reviewers for the ny times or something. It's ridiculous.

In our search for a local pizza place in the area, we stumbled upon Broadway. Beware, though, Google Maps doesn't have the pin in the correct place. We ended up in a deserted parking lot a few blocks away and had to call to find out where they were. It is in a shopping plaza so street numbers were useless. This place seems like a great place for a late-night meal or snack. There are a lot of TVs, so there was a bunch of football watching and loud cheers, but we expected it. The appetizers were good and the pizza was tasty - it was well priced and we had plenty left over. I would go back next time we're in town.

About the only thing this place has in common with its namesake location is attitude. The help are indifferent to the point of being rude. Add to that slow service, (I mean unbelievably slow; 30 minutes for a small pizza with no explanation and no apology); so-so pizza (crust tastes like Pillsbury bread dough and cheese is the same stuff every run of the mill pizza place serves), and a brazen overcharge on the final bill ($12.00 for a $3.75 beer), resulting in a causal "sorry", and you have everything you need to stay away.

We've ordered from here a few times. This is a TERRIBLE Broadway location. The food is always cold, over or under-done, sloppy or just plain gross (how do you screw up a cheese pizza?). Also, I understand why College-adjacent Broadway locations take 1hr to deliver a block away. But in the Altamonte suburbs...really? Do yourself a favor and go to one of the GOOD Broadway locations (Winter Park is my favorite), that actually make really good food.

Really good pizza, the best I've found in this area so far. The delivery isn't quick (an hour on average, any time of day) but you can plan for that. The garlic bread is decent, but don't bother with the fried ravioli.

We went on a whim with a craving for pizza. We'd tried other locations and liked them, but wanted something a little further from the college scene. We had a great waitress (if you go, ask for Hannah). She was attentive and friendly without being constantly there; she helped us move to a table further from the AC vent, and was very nice about it; she brought our food and drinks promptly and even gave us advice when we were ordering. The food was excellent (we got buffalo blue cheese pizza and stuffed veggie pizza), the beer was fresh and cold (she gave us extra orange slices for our Blue Moon pitcher), the salad was great... All in all, a great experience! We'll definitely be going back!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. Service and food were great! We ordered lots of wings, a Sicilian pizza & a NY style pizza. Everything was really good! Also, the food came out pretty fast (good thing, we were beyond starving!!!) The wings were great - nice and crispy and just the right amount of wing sauce. The Sicilian pizza was also delish -- crispy bottom, soft center, and lots of cheese. How could it get any better? It's open until 4 am and they have an outdoor seating area where they play music on certain nights. I definitely recommend.

Wish they would have one out in west Orlando area! Kinda far for us to go, but we meet friends there and have always had a wonderful time and great food. The wait staff is always friendly no matter how strange our group can be. Never had a bad meal here and we've been here several times. Always hot, always delicious. The garlic zeppoli's are outrageously good. Whatever the chunk of soft bread dripping with butter and garlic and parmesan cheese is that is served with some meals is - GET IT! I don't care if it's 3,000 calories and 100 fat grams! It was worth EVERY one of them! I could not stop eating it. The appetizers are great and make a meal by themselves although we always share! I'm assuming they have changed managers since August 2011 cause it's great.

ordered delivery from here last night. took 1 hour!! kind of long, but i guess expected on a Friday Night. Had a Stromboli: a little greasy and not enough cheese... and a Turtle Cheesecake which really was a slice of cheese cake with some nuts and caramel on top. Wasn't impressed much...

Just terrible. The food can be good but is utterly inconsistent. Forget about calling and talking to a level-headed manager that cares. Once they get the credit card number you're treated like a telemarketer if you call them back. Sean - "the manager" - is disgraceful. Professionalism is out the door at this place. Once you have paid, it is like the older kids on the playground taking your money and holding it high and laughing at you. So NOT worth the aggravation of trying to resolve poor service or incorrect orders. This place is the roulette of Maitland/Altamonte delivery. If your order is so wrong you have to throw it out, they honestly don't care. You get charged either way. Why take the chance? Avoid this one - the poor reviews are indication enough the managers here just don't care.

My favorite fact about Broadway is that they are open until 4:00 am Thursday through Sunday and 2:00 am the other three days. I can't tell you how many time I have had post-midnight munchies and nowhere to go (except the 24-hour grocery store and that's no fun). Hot and cold subs are delish, as is the pizza. It's always baked to perfection with lots of cheese. There is a full bar, which my co-workers and I take full advantage of after our shift, and the option to sit on the patio or indoors. A really good neighborhood bar/restaurant/hang-out spot for your late night needs.

I found this gem through suggestion of a co-worker as i do not live on this side of town. All I have to say is WoW! The pizza was phenomenal. Since then I make the 45 min drive from where i live to get pizza from here, while it is not a luxury i can take all the time. It's soooo worth it. They also have a dessert don't know what it is called but they are little balls of dough in powdered sugar with a raspberry, Which is what i chose, dipping sauce... Yumm. The atmosphere is very nice to get close with someone or to hang out with a group, or just enjoy a slice in the seating area outside.

My favorite calzone in the Orlando area. Thin/crispy crust and they don't go light on the cheese. Service always friendly. Have also enjoyed the eggplant parm and the pizza's. They have the NFL Sunday ticket, however, only 1 large TV and two small Tv's. Large outdoor patio area too.

The food is good whether you order pizza, pasta, or otherwise. They're open until 4AM. Great place to go with friends. This are the best wings!

Sometimes the pizza is great, but very inconsistent. Been several times and pizza has never been the same. Sometimes burned, sometimes doughy. This time over cooked and tons of flour on bottom. Garlic knits arwere great last time we had them, then over cooked this time. Just over all inconsistent place. Doubt we're going back again...

I went for lunch on a Saturday. After lunch I went to the bathroom to wash up. Upon entering the bathroom I found an employee shaving in the only sink. He stepped back long enough for me to wash my hands but the whole scene was absurd.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
